What is
SneakPeek® Clinical?
SneakPeek Clinical is an early gender DNA detection test offered to women starting at 7 weeks into pregnancy. An on-site phlebotomist draws a small blood sample from the Mother's arm and then returns the sample to SneakPeek Labs for processing. The laboratories offer the fastest turnaround times in the industry!
How does SneakPeek® work?
SneakPeek utilizes the natural process of shared fetal DNA circulating inside the mother's bloodstream. Our PCR technology has the ability to detect the presence or absence of male Y chromosome in the blood sample provided starting at 7 weeks into pregnancy. If it is detected then the baby's gender is male and if it is not detected then the baby's gender is female.
Do you test my blood for gestational age?
No, we do not test blood for gestational age. The information you provide on your signed Consent Form acknowledges that you have provided an accurate Due Date.
A minimum of 7 weeks is required for accurate results. If your due date is based on your Last Menstrual Period or hCG levels, it is recommended to wait 1-2 weeks before scheduling. These methods can have up to a 2 week variance. Due dates based on an ultrasound are the most accurate.
Can you use SneakPeek with multiples?
Yes you can. If we detect the presence of male DNA then we can confirm at least one of the babies is male. If we do not detect male DNA then we can confirm you are only having female babies.
We completely stand behind our product and will gladly give you a full refund if a boy result does not match the gender of one of your newborn babies or if a girl result does not match the gender of both of your newborn babies.
